Come help out at our second Olympic event of the year! Over 400 Washington area youth will come together for a day of sports, crafts, environmental learning, and service, led by So What Else! With such a large turnout, we are looking for volunteers to assist with all aspects of the day: volunteer duties include helping serve food, organize and facilitate one of the 15 stations, and help the day flow without a hitch.
JDRF is looking for volunteers to help with their annual Walk Day! Tasks include registration, food and beverages, and clean-up. Volunteers are asked to arrive between 6:30-7AM, and will be out by noon! Note: Metro does not open until 7am on weekends, so you’ll need to get other transportation (free street and garage parking nearby).
Join us for this great event at White Oak! Volunteers will help with arts & crafts and cooking stations for young children, ages 4-6. We will also need adults to help out with several of the concession stands and volunteers to help out with clean up at the end of the event. All volunteers will have time to enjoy the event, and lunch IS provided! If you are interested in volunteering at this event, please contact firstname.lastname@example.org.
