Patti Spady Ross – A native Washingtonian and alum of The American University, Patti Spady Ross has lived in the Baltimore area for nearly 15 years. Prior to her current work with Montgomery County Public Schools, she held several corporate and non-profit positions in marketing; her last as the Regional Director for the Challenger Center for Space Science Education. Patti is an enthusiastic supporter of equitable access to education, and as a life-long learner she holds a Master’s degree in management. Patti has passion for homeless services and has been an active volunteer at Sarah’s Hope, Mount Street, an emergency shelter for women and children in West Baltimore. Gary W. Day

Gary is the founder of DB Capital Management, LLC. He brings to the firm 15 years experience in the private investment management industry. DB Capital Management, LLC is a private, boutique style investment firm, which specializes in identifying and acquiring investment vehicles in multiple industries including, but not limited to, medical device, software, social media technology and real estate. Prior to founding DB Capital Management, LLC, Gary founded the Georgetown Capital Group, which was originally based in Arlington, VA and which he later sold a large private equity firm.  Before founding the Georgetown Capital Group, LLC, Gary was an Associate then Vice President of finance for Washington Investment Partners, LLC. While there, he was responsible for identifying and analyzing potential real estate and business target acquisitions. The company acquired several million square feet of retail and commercial real estate as well as participated in several large and successful early round business financings. Gary has a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance from the American University in Washington, DC as well as an MBA in Finance and Entrepreneurship from North Carolina State University.

Abby Frimpong

Abby Frimpong is an accomplished development professional with more than a decade of experience in all aspects of corporate and non-profit fundraising.  She is an inclusive and inspiring leader, adept at cultivating relationships to enhance cooperation and build teamwork, and a creative and strategic planner with a keen eye for detail and a proven, goal-oriented methodology. Her professional experience has included Major Gifts Officer and Director of Annual Giving at Shady Grove Adventist Hospital Foundation. Prior to her work with the Foundation, Ms. Frimpong worked at Georgetown Preparatory School in Bethesda, Maryland, The Endocrine Society and Landon School. Ms. Frimpong volunteers her time and expertise to many worthwhile causes in her community.  She serves on the Fight 4 Diabetes Cure Committee, providing thought leadership on fundraising goals and practices as well as the Board of Youth Art For Healing. Internationally, she has worked with Books for Africa and Iniciativas de Paz.

Ashley is the Supervisor of Events at Wellness Corporate Solutions, a nationwide health and wellness company, where she is fortunate to bring health awareness to thousands of lives a year. In her spare time, Ashley enjoys anything that gets her moving – spinning, hiking, yoga, group exercise classes, walking, you name it! With a strong belief that knowledge is power, Ashley will seize any opportunity to  share her learning’s with friends and family!
