So What Else is joining partners across the nation to celebrate Food Waste Prevention Week (September 28 to October 4, 2026). This week, and every week, we are driving a movement to not only reduce food waste but also address food insecurity in our communities, save families money, and support a healthier environment.
Join us at our special Food Waste Prevention Week event on October 3rd for a day of volunteering, connection, and support to help fight food waste and hunger in our communities.
Lend a hand in distributing food, take a behind-the-scenes tour of the food rescue bank, and learn about reducing food waste through composting and other sustainability efforts. A complimentary breakfast and lunch will be provided.
