SUMMARY:Profiles in Plumage: Photography Exhibition & Reception
DESCRIPTION:A Flock of Support: Bird Photography Exhibit Benefits So What Else \nGarrett Park photographer Dave Rubenstein is opening a bird photography exhibition\, “Profiles in Plumage\,” at Penn Place (the Garrett Park Post Office building) this November\, and So What Else is a featured beneficiary. \nThe show runs November 3-28 and features more than two dozen photographs from across the hemisphere\, from the Florida shallows to the Colombian Andes. Dave said\, “Birds spend most of their time looking for food. I wanted this exhibition to help So What Else protect neighbors who worry about food\, especially heading into a season that highlights gathering around the dining table.” \nJoin us for a special So What Else reception at the gallery on Thursday\, November 12\, from 4 to 7 p.m. Meet Dave in person\, hear about our work\, and see the collection up close over snacks and a glass of wine. Every print is for sale\, and all profits from sales at the reception support the work of So What Else. \nEach photograph is unlike any other\, and these imaginative\, evocative\, beautiful prints make great gifts with a purpose behind them\, and an early start on holiday shopping. \nWe hope to see you there! \nEvent Details\n\nDate: Thursday\, November 12\, 2026\nTime: 4:00 – 7:00 PM\nLocation: Penn Place — 4600 Waverly Ave.\, Garrett Park\, MD 20896\nRSVP: Please RSVP to info@sowhatelse.org\n\nPrint Purchases\nMore information coming soon for anyone who is interested in purchasing a print and supporting So What Else but can’t make it to the exhibition or reception!
