DESCRIPTION:Join our So What Else DC Team for a Day of Service! \nJanuary 20 at 1736 Marion Barry Ave SE Washington DC \nShifts to sign up to volunteer are here. \n  \nBe a part of an impactful day as we distribute fresh produce\, groceries\, and household goods and provide poetry to inspire and uplift our community. Volunteers will assist with unloading food pallets\, setting up and distributing items\, managing traffic and crowd control\, and supporting the takeaway meal distribution provided by local restaurants. \nThis event is outdoors\, so please dress for the weather and wear comfortable\, closed-toed shoes. Volunteers must be able to stand for long periods and perform physical tasks. Gloves and any necessary supplies will be provided.
