FOOD ASSISTANCE

Montgomery County Food Pantry

On Mondays through Fridays, clients with appointments can receive food from our indoor food pantry. On Saturdays, clients with appointments can receive food from our drive-up or walk-up outdoor food pantry.

Home Deliveries

If you are a homebound individual and are unable to stop by our pantry or pop-up distributions due to a disability or lack of transportation, consider enrolling in our home delivery program!

You will receive one bag of food every two weeks, the quantity and variety of which is subject to change based on supplies.
This program is entirely volunteer-driven, so the days and times of your delivery are subject to change based on our volunteer capacity.
Due to high demand, you may be placed on a waitlist if you reside outside of our geographic zone. Please be patient as we take time to process your request.

Gaithersburg Food Distributions

We host pop-up food distributions in Gaithersburg. We may close due to weather, so please follow us on social media (Facebook, Instagram) for the latest news on our schedule.

THRIFT STORE

Our Montgomery County thrift store offers clothing, shoes, home goods, toys, books and more at no cost. No appointment is needed to visit the thrift store.

We also accept donations of clothing, shoes, home goods, electronics, small appliances, toys and games, diapers and baby wipes, cleaning supplies, toiletries and feminine hygiene products. Donations can be dropped off at our Montgomery County food pantry and thrift store at 4924 Wyaconda Road, North Bethesda, MD.

DIAPER DISTRIBUTION

We offer diapers at no cost. Diapers are available at our Montgomery County location at 4924 Wyaconda Road, North Bethesda, MD. No appointment is needed to pick up diapers.

Eligibility: Diapers are provided for children born between 2022 and 2026.
Please bring: 1) your (parent or guardian) ID, and 2) something with the child’s name and date of birth (DOB) on it (birth certificate, medical paperwork, insurance card).
You can receive 2 packs of diapers (50 diapers total) per child once a month.

So What Else is partnering with Fabric Health to provide free assistance and resources on SNAP and Medicare applications. Get your questions answered, submit your application, and stay in the know about key dates.

DO YOU NEED SIGN LANGUAGE ASSISTANCE?

On Tuesdays and Thursdays from 9:30AM to 4PM at the Food Rescue Bank, So What Else will have volunteers providing sign language assistance to those in need during food pick-up appointments.
