Kevin Smith is the Managing Member of Donaldson Impact Investments and serves as Chief Investment Officer and Chief Strategy Officer of The Donaldson Group, a Maryland-based multifamily investment and property management firm focused on both market-rate and affordable housing.
With more than 30 years of experience in capital markets, acquisitions, and asset management, Kevin has successfully closed over $7 billion in transactions. He has held senior positions at CAPREIT, Centerline, HFF, and Opus East, in addition to founding and leading three firms: Winmar Capital Partners, ARK Realty Capital, and Blackwell Advisors.

Kevin is an active member of the National Multi Housing Council (NMHC) and has dedicated the past eight years to serving on the board of the ALS Association of Maryland/Virginia/DC. He also supports National Jewish Health and Habitat for Humanity through fundraising efforts.

A graduate of York University in Toronto, Canada, Kevin holds a Bachelor of Science in Political Science.
