About Our Founders
Robert Schless, CPA, Treasurer
Bob is a local Montgomery County businessman and lives in Maryland with his two daughters, Amanda and Sydney. He owns staffing firms located in the DC metro area and Florida. Bob is a CPA and has a Masters Degree in Accounting from Long Island University.
Following a volunteering trip to New Orleans’ Lower 9th Ward, he decided to take giving back to a whole new level and approach community service as a second career. Bob is active in the Washington area nonprofit community and dedicated to using all of his resources to aid as many people as possible and help as many groups as he can.
David Silbert, Executive Director
Dave has a background in youth sports coach and personal training. He is a graduate of Loyola College in Baltimore; during his time at Loyola, he played baseball and ran a baseball camp for children. He began his career in personal training, but following his and Bob’s volunteering trip to New Orleans, he was inspired to make giving back his full time profession. Today, he teaches at two of So What Else’s weekly classes in addition to serving as So What Else’s Executive Director.
He is an avid softball and basketball player and on several different community teams. Dave is passionate about making the world a better place, and dedicates his life to helping our community, country and planet. He and his three children Dominique, Joseph, and Victoria live in Montgomery County, Maryland.
