This July, Patti Ross and our volunteer coordinator Amy Santis will be leading a special five-week Big Idea workshop at Patterson Park’s Living Classrooms.

Elementary school aged students will work in groups to plan, implement, and evaluate their own community service projects in their city and neighborhoods. During their first week, each group described what ‘community’ means to them and illustrated their ideal community.
